    Rodenstock Imagon 250mm question

I've read about the 300mm Imagon in Copal 3 having only 2 discs because of the restriction imposed by the shutter. I have been offered a 250mm Imagon in Sinar barrel mount (DB) with 2 discs, ND filter and hood. My question is should there be 2 or 3 discs in this configuration?

    Thanks all!

The Imagon 250mm should have three discs: H5.8/H7.7, H7.7/H9.5/, and H9.5/H11.5. I have the last two discs and I looking for the first disc and hood lens. I found the ND filter and ordered it.

You will be getting almost a complete set.

Thanks for your detailed reply. I'll ask to see which disc is missing.

Is it possible the third disc is mounted on the lens and the seller doesn't realize it?

Not sure how that could happen, since they're kinda obvious, but one never knows.

They're pretty distinctive. If you looked at the front of the lens at all, you would immediately see it.

    Hi Kent,

You know that, and I know that.

The question is whether the seller knows that.
