Difference Between Epson v750 and v750-M Scanners

I'm curious. I've been considering upgrading from my 4870 scanner to one of the 700 series scanners. I've read reviews comparing the v700 with the v750.

But since those reviews were written, Epson renamed the v750 to v750-M. Did they make a change to the scanner, when they renamed it?

That naming has been around since the beginning. At one point, I think it was used to differentiate between the 750 scanners that came with the mounting station and those that did not. The crappy mounting station was standard in the U.S. for the 750 but it was possible to buy a 750 in other countries that did not have a mounting station as a standard item.

    Doug,

How are the drop in adaptors coming along for your MF holders?

    Thanks,
