    I just spent $630 to have a new printer head installed in my 3800. I took a week off to help my Mom move and when I got back 2 heads were clogged, and wouldn't clear with any method, regular or power clean, ammonia, or whatever. I would've bought a new printer, but didn't have the cash and did have a large backlog of printing to do. The lesson learned, and emphasized by the repair guy, was that its risky to not print for 3 or more days. He showed me a 4900 he just got in with the same problem. The heads are very fine on these things...
