Started shooting film seriously just 3-4 years ago, and very quickly was introduced to MF and LF cameras. I turned my old dSLR into a dedicated IR camera, and lent my 35mm Canon AE-1 to someone who still has it. Currently using a Hasselblad 500c/m system, borrowing a Technika IV (with matching lens and cam) and just got myself an 8x10 setup: Tachihara 810GF, Calumet Caltar 300mm many many film backs (lisco, fidelity and MetalMasters!) and a solid Majestic tripod with a 6x7" plate. I just all the final bits this week, so this weekend will be my first go at this NTM system. And I can't wait!
Just turned 50 last month and did my yearly physical this morning and my new doctor asked me why I looked so young (boasting here). Told him I swim 10 hours a week and did not tell him that I have to carry a big camera around like a mule. I also have my lowest heart rate recorded this morning at his office: 43.
