Fujichrome Velvia (4x5 inch) RVP 50

I can buy a few boxes of Fujichrome Velvia (4x5 inch) RVP 50 from the year 2002.
According the seller it was in the fridge all the time. Can I use this film or should I skip this deal. I have to pay 50 Euro for 6 boxes.

Should be OK. There will probably be some colorshift towards magenta, but that adds to the quality :-) How many sheets per box? If it's for 50 sheet boxes, that's a great price

IMO most of my outdated slide film (earlier than 2006 or so) has come out pretty disappointing, especially Velvia because of the color shift. Some people happily use it but I would rather shoot fresher film myself for "real" shots.

No, it is 10 slides per box. When I order a new box it cost 40 Euro per 10 sheets.
