Around the house?

In the most general way I was thinking of Kertesz's image of stairs and a tulip, except that I have neither his skill, nor the tulip. But I did have a balustrade and a bamboo plant! Negative scan, HP5+, Pyrocat: Comments & critique always welcome.

It's hard to put into words exactly "why," but I really like this image.

Love the geometry and light here. On my screen the door does not seem to be perfectly vertical , so my mind feels uneasy regarding this fact. Also not settled by the top right frame/ing on the wall. The it feels too close to the door. Overall great image. Keep them coming!

Love the contrast. The guitar almost seems to pop out of the page. The loose wires around the head stock are interesting. My mind keeps asking what if the cabinet was not there?

Interesting. The light feels a little too contrasty. I also keep wondering what would the image look like if the chairs were not there?
