    This is an old one (around 1985 I think)...back when I'd lived in an old Vermont farmhouse without double glazed windows - a bit chilly but otherwise with obvious visual benefits! At any rate...some "frost" (large ice crystals) had formed on the bedroom window panes - and I'd say the area described by this photo would be about 9 x 12 inches. The crystals were just starting to melt as the sun had arrived...so I needed to act quickly!
