    In the most general way I was thinking of Kertesz's image of stairs and a tulip, except that I have neither his skill, nor the tulip. But I did have a balustrade and a bamboo plant! Negative scan, HP5+, Pyrocat:

    I forgot about that one !

    I'm not a carpenter, but I suspect the door is hung at an angle in order to close by itself. If not, then it's sloppy view camera technique on my part.

    I think the door is fine. Its just the way the angles come together that makes one take a second look.
    A nice mystery in a wonderful photograph.
