Thanks for that! I developed my first film ever at print space a few years ago, and K&M is awesome. I think CNN did a good job on this one.

Funny, however, that while they explained film, they said the words "paper" and "print" without any explanation. Isn't this supposed to be from the future!? ;-)

You missed something that could be inspirational to many digi snapper photogs. Glad to see this story myself

Didn't CNN get the memo? Film is dead.
It must be true. I read it on the Internet.

Slightly off-topic, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Hal's eye was a LF lens, something like a plasmat.

    Perhaps the first LF/Digital incarnation?

Ash, I agree with you, the faintly-British-announcer-accent-as-computer voice is way overdone. Also, the presentation was annoying.

Vincent Flanders, who created Web Pages That Suck to teach good web design, coined the term "Flashturbation" to describe the unnecessary use of Flash on a web page. For this CNN piece (and probably others) I think the word "digiturbation" fits. The presentation suffered from all of the needless little pseudo-web page presentation encumbrance.

I like that they gave film some air time, I just would have preferred a more "artful" presentation.

Wouldn't something in the Biogon clan have been more appropriate?

Congratulations for who meet this video. A lot of ICP there..

I processed in LTI last month. Their profesionalism is supperlative.

I wish the film would have the same price here as in US.. I think this is the reason NY sold more folm that entire Europe..

In Valencia, a 4x5 10 sheets of Ektar cost 46 euro meanwhile in NY I payed this price for two boxes.

Thank you for that! The irony of the video is that it was most likely shot in digital. haha
And YES, film is not dead!!! Long live film.
