    Which way gound glass...newbie question

Ok, I proudly, and oh so carefully, removed the ground glass on my just purchase d Cambo 4x5. (I think its an SC? Only geared movement is focus, all other are fr iction.) Anyway, the glass cleaned up very nicely with some dish soap and warm w ater, making me feel even better about shrewd used camera purchase. Then I went to install the ground glass.....hmmm...which way was the frost facing? Toward me , or the lens?

    Which way gound glass...newbie question

Frosted side towards the lens. That's where the film plane will be, so that's where you want the image to form.

    Cheers!
