    Here's a new one from me;

    My daughter was shooting her husbands best man's wedding and had me come up to Lake Tahoe, presumably to watch my new grandson Oliver while she worked. She was struggling with the harsh afternoon light using my Nikon.

    I set up the venerable Kodak 8X10 with a Dallmeyer Landscape 9" uncorked. Looks like the old man with the old camera pulled yet another one out of his ..............
    I dunno, Jim - I think this is probably the best wedding portrait I've ever seen, and one of your best. Inspiring altogether.

    Thanks!

    Some sitters are just more natural at being still than others. Some need to be fed a few bourbons to settle the shakes

    That being said....he had a headbrace jammed up against his brain to make it just that little bit easier.

    ...and another shot in the same session.

    Wonderfull Craig!

    Chamonix 45N2 - Sinaron SE210 - HP5 in Pyrocat HD

    Anyone an idea what the black line at the bottom side may be? I thought it was due to bellows sagging but it occurred also on the same side of a negative exposed in landscape mode... I developed 4 sheets of FP4 and there I don't seem to have that problem...

    It ended up being a big discussion between the team around the table and he/they finally decided to go with the first....ultimately, the decision is in the hands of the man in the picture.

    I agree; the out-of-focus arms at the bottom of the photo were distracting.
    Good call, and good work!
