    I wasn't familiar with that particular image and find it gross and a bit fascinating as always. He always pushes the boundaries of good taste.

    I don't know what that JPW picture has to do with manipulation of images..
    The Saudek (seen it in real life - big and intimidating..) might be more on the spot, but...

    Never mind.

    When I manipulate my negatives I won't know what to get.. the distressing using sandpaper end so on can be controlled a little, but when I use chemistry - strange things can happen...

    The dark "figure" in the back just emerged when I used bleach on the neg...

    Well neither do I if there aren't extra people strolling around in them.

    I've been working on a few series which incorporate smaller (35 and 120) images on 4x5 and 5x7 distressed negatives. I don't think they'd be appropriate to post here (not sure they're technically LF, even though the compiled negative is LF...).
    Occasionally though, when I scrape the emulsion off of the large negative, I ruin it for my purpose. One day, I decided to print, and paint, one:
