Beseler Dichro 45S questions

All:
I have a new to me Beseler 45S Dichro head and want to know how it should be plugged in and operated. It has 2 electrical plugs, and Gray one on the left, that is very long, and a short black one on the right (as facing the front with the "white light" and dichro knobs). I am looking for a manual, but have not found one on the web yet.

one cord is for the fan which must be on when you use the light source. The white rocker switch on the front is the on/off switch for the fan.

The other cord is for the light itself which should be plugged into the timer.

That is correct, thanks for the help. Now I have to complete the rest of my darkroom and start printing....
