    Rodeo Anyone??

Went to the Wilsall Rodeo last weekend. But instead of taking the Nikon, I decided to bring the large format camera. I think I managed about 16 photos. Of course if you were there on Saturday, the whole thing was only about an hour and a half long. Still working on developing the film but here is one that is done. Used the Horseman 4x5, Fuji 450mm lens, Ilford HP5+ rated at ISO 1600. Lens wide open (f12) at about 1/125 th second. I hope to have a couple of more photos ready later tonight.

Interesting using the 4x5 for this. What were the challenges?

A 450/12 for action, that's sick. Congrats on getting a good shot!

I imagine he focused on the barrel and waited for the rider to come into position, rather than trying to pan and track ;-)
