    Hi Ken,

Nice composition and exposure, but the image looks a tad soft (the focus, not the cheese cake).

It doesn't look soft to me. A tad light for my taste, maybe. Maybe it's light cheesecake. Any way you look at it it's a treat for the eyes. Sweet image with creamy OOF areas.

Thanks, I looked at the neg and it looks sharp to me. Maybe I need less OOF area in the image? I am working with a probably 12 or 13 year old Epson Perfection 1650 scanner, topped off with my rather novice scanning abilities probably doesn't help much either.

No not a "light" cheese cake, this is a full fat yummy creation that I like to make every now and then. Problem is that when I make one its usually gone in about 2 days. Who can resist?

    Ken

[QUOTE=Mark Sawyer;821179]About a month ago, I was walking through the parking lot outside the local grocery store, and saw a little piece of a pothos plant lying there. It was a little wilted, bruised and beat up, probably why someone pinched it off a bigger plant they'd just bought. Okay, I'm a sucker for little wounded things... I picked it up, tossed it on the truck seat, took it home and stuck it in a little glass of water on the kitchen window sill. It popped right back, put out some roots, and is about ready to go into a little pot of soil.

Mark, I'm grateful you rescued it. I like the swirling roots and the background has a nice texture.

I like it, Bethe. From the image I'd say your grandmother is/was a classy lady with a strong sense of self and family, a sense of humor, and loved cats.
