CT to where for 2 weeks ?

On short notice, I have a few weeks and trying to think of a 2 week vacation somewhere in driving range of CT. I drive to Utah a few times a year so the miles don't scare me. All LF gear, Jeep. Mostly into landscapes but have an interest in old towns. Would rather not hit the heat this time (70s, 80s or less of course).

    Thoughts?

Follow Paul Strand north to the Gaspe Peninsula. It hasn't changed much in the last 80 years.
Or follow me northwest to the Bruce Peninsula.

Hard to beat that idea. Anytime of the year! If you plan the route carefully, you can hit several great places on the way to/from Banff-Jasper. Like Glacier, Yellowstone-Tetons, Devils Tower, and myriad small towns on the plains stuck in a 40s-50s time warp.
    Be safe. Have fun!

Hi Ron Miller.... here is an offer... there are a few mad-about-film large format shooters up here in the Canmore/Banff area right smack dab in the Canadian Rockies an hour west of Calgary, Alberta. I have been thinking of trying to organize a get together up here for a few keen landscape photographers so when might you be looking to hit this area if you choose to visit? In the high country, the heavy snow pack of this winter will slow us down until mid July or later but lots to see and do plus you have the prairies to cross AND some amazing areas in northwest Montana like Glacier and Waterton Parks.
Let me know your timing and if you need any help in the planning or recommendations, I would be glad to help and could organize a bbq with some fellow large format crazy canucks. I love the images on your website and admire the car restorations so come on up to your northern neighbours. Maybe we can entice some other interested individuals.
    Cheers, Richard Brown....Canmore, Alberta
