    extending the lenth of paper.

Occasionally I like to take a photo and strech it in PS to give it a panoramic look. My question is how can I extend the lenth of print on my Epson 3800. I want to use 17" wide rolls and go to about 40-42 " in lenth but I can only go to about 35.5 ".Can I extend the lenth to around 40-42"?

I don't believe you can do that with the Epson software you will have to go an aftermarket software like QTR or ImagePrint.
    Thanks,

Kirk is correct. To print images longer than 37.4 inches long on the 3800/3880 a RIP is required.

Occasionally Qimage is recommended to circumvent this limitation but that won't work since the 3800 series has no roll paper attachment; hence no firmware support for long rolls for Qimage to interface with.
