    Chamonix 5X7 question

I received the convertible model 5X7 this morning. It seems to be a well thought out camera that I will try later today. In trying to understand the movements, zero positions, etc., I find the back standard vertical position (where I pushed a tab in on each lower side of the back std to allow rearward tilt) difficult to find. Are the two tabs I pushed in meant to come back out to get to a zero out rear std vertical, or is this done by the bubble level? Thank you.

With the camera folded, look at the bottom of the camera at the bottoms of the tabs. Push them.
