    Kodak tray siphon blocked ???

I have one of those Kodak tray siphon to wash my prints. Now it seems blocked; I can hardly blow through it, let alone having water flow through it.

I have no idea what could block it and I don't feel anything hard in the flexible part of the tube. Does it have any moving parts in there ? I don't see a way to dissassemble it.

Any ideas what I could do ?

    thanks,
    Stefan.

It could be a calcium buildup from using hard water. Soak it in CLR or any calcium removal product for a while then rinse thoroughly. It shouldn't harm the plastic. It's worth a try at least.

I thought about that too, and tried the soaking, but no go ... Today, I tried blowing through with high pressure, and it works again. There came some white plasticy stuff out, no idea what it is, but it works again !

    Thanks for your help.

    Stefan.
