    Delta 1 20x24" Magnetic Easel

Does anyone have any experience with the Delta 1 20x24" magnetic easel? It's relatively inexpensive, but there's very little information on it available. I'll be doing the occasional 20x24" prints, and looking for something*that will work. I'm all set up to 16x20 at this point.

I just cut a 20x24 piece of particle board, painted it black and ran strips of double sided poster tape along the edges and center.

Bingo! Sorry, David, I thought that might be obvious.

Oh, you mean the double-sided temporary adhesive tape. OK, got it. What I've seen locally has been temporary adhesive putty blobs for posters.

For a magnetic easel, you can just get a big sheet of steel, paint it, and then get some magnet strips to hold the paper down.

If you do this, I might get a thinner sheet and contact-cement or screw it to the board. I can tell you from experience that sheets of steel are rarely perfectly flat, even the thicker stuff.

This week end I'll be making something very similar to this.

I'll be using these computer case cooling fans.

I'll be making the frame out of wood, painting it flat black. I still need to source the sheet metal.

I would suggest using more powerful computer fans than that. I got some 92mm 12V 1.5A fans from BG Micro (now sold out) a while back and those things pull a whole lot of air. Those 50mm are probably meant to be quiet fans and don't pull much. Look on the surplus market for server grade fans.
