    let's see your tests..

This I remember as a small challenge...
I stood next to the camera, working the "top hat" shutter, and told Trine that I was about to tell a joke... and IF she thought it to be funny, she could react - not to me, but in to the camera..

That alone made her smile - so I skipped the joke and just took the picture.

hi gandolfi. i really really admire your works!!! those are amazing images!

anyway, i have this stupid question as well since i'm now using paper for my LF. the paper i'm using right now is lucky RC paper. a cheap one from china. dunno if its possible to contact print the paper negative. since it has a thicker paper at the back of the emulsion. how do you guys do it?

another thing is, i read somewhere that MC paper could be possibly be used in alternative photography. anyone tried it? too vouge for me right now. need to read more about papers again..

    thank you!

    hi tenderobject.

    Thanks for your words.

My negatives are normal weight RC papers, And even though they are thicker than single weight (I don't think they are available as RC papers (?)) I have no problem.

In fact, when using thinner papers, the motive will be challenged by the fact, that now you'll see the fibers in the paper.. So I prefer normal RC paper.

MC paper - I don't know what that is?

Tenderobject... nice, very nice. And Gandolphi, your images are always great! So which RC paper do you use for the negative? I am confused. I thought you said you used fiber based double weight. Perhaps he was refering to Multi-Contrast (MC)?

    multi contrast..

i'm still puzzled on how you can contact print the RC paper. mine has a thick back so i don't think light can go through it do i need to peel the emulsion side before making a contact print?

thank you! will post more test here.
