    Carrying my tripod

I think I've found the best system so far for lugging my tripod around. (Ries J) I just lugged it two miles on my back in the snow with complete comfort.

The main piece is a Tabgear Biathlon sling, simple variety with HK style clips. It is a rugged padded sling which loosely centers the tripod on my back.

Then I attached it to the tripod with some heavy velcro straps that have a metal "ring".
