Very nice Ken!

An old Jeep at the end of the road. I no longer live on that road...I do not know about the Jeep.
Somewhere I have an 8x10 negative of my three boys standing around the jeep...must be 10 or so years ago.
8x10 Platinum/palladium print...one of my earlier ones.

By the time, I got shooting it with the larger camera, the sun had moved over to this side.
Here is one of the other side, shot with an RB67 / portra film

That does tell a story Ken. It's also a great collection of shapes! I love how the mirror and the fracture on the windshield perfectly echo each other. Nice one.
Could you please share what story you get from that photo: does it look like the driver was shot ?
I suspect that someone just shot that hole in the glass, after the truck had sat around for a long time.
I just made it for aesthetic reasons: shapes, textures, tones, ratios, etc.
It just tells me this truck has been exposed to a semi-severe outdoor environment for many many seasons, that's all. The surface rust, the delamination of the safety glass around the bullet hole, the pine needles in the wipers, all speak of abandonment and neglect for perhaps 50 - 60 years.
Why we are drawn to decay and neglect . . . I'll leave to the psycho-babblers.
