If you're ever in San Francisco you'll likely see one just like it in service! When I first came to the area, not knowing its love affair with the old street cars, I was literally blown away when I saw the Desire pass by.

I seem to only be taking photos at the Pioneer Air Museum in Kingsbury, TX these days. Here's one from April 2018. I think the car is Model T based, maybe Mr. Galli can identify? Didn't get a look at the pedals.

Lovely photo and the detail is fantastic. Yes, an early (1915 or earlier) Ford Model T. My only complaint is not with you, but the car builder. Why would you leave the ghastly plywood grain showing at the cowl. Little things people do that don't make sense. You have to be a car guy to fuss I guess. Great job Mike.

Hardwood. Painted black. Not plywood. I don't think plywood was invented yet in the 1910's but could be wrong about that.
