Using a Symmar 210/370 on a Linhof Tech III

I was wondering if the Linhof III has enough bellows extension to use the Symmar 210/370 lens in the 370 FL for portraits? I've tried searching through the forum and have not found a clear answer.

    Thanks

365mm sticks in my mind as the maximum front plus rear extension on the III. Since in the 370mm mode the lens is behind the shutter you would probably need over 400mm extension just for infinity and more for a portrait. Maybe a 3 inch top hat board? Of course you could try the 370 group on the front of the shutter where it shouldn't matter for a portrait but you still might not get to portrait distance. A 360 Tele-Xenar would be a better choice.

Thats what I thought but haven't had a chance to test it out.
    Thank you for your response.
