Worse than Canon vs Nikon! Hell it's be worse than digital vs film! And so far, nobody has mentioned Kansas City BBQ, or Memphis, or Texas. This could get really nasty... and very tasty! I've been lucky to have some amazing Que is very many places. I especially like Sweatman's in SC and Bigham's in Texas.

My wife is from Belarus (former USSR). She loves kudzu. She says it "looks like momuments!"

I grant you you can get some interesting images. There is a place on Hwy 74 in Rockingham NC where it is draped over an old burnt factory. Really attracts your attention.

Never thought that there was a cold season down there, good heads up about waiting longer in the season , I would have been pretty pissed sitting in a field and no f.. kjasdf plants.
You folks can argue all you want about bbq, its all good by me, best I had was about 20 minutes out of San Antonio Texas in a huge farm building, Ice Tea , and coleslaw.

It's taken over Florida, just go anywhere and look for a pond, lake, or river, you'll find plenty of kudzu. I hate the stuff.

Mmmm...Brown's BBQ near Kingstree, with a satellite in Mt. Pleasant. Black pepper and vinegar sauce. Wow, do I ever miss that!

From what I've heard, though Momma Brown's in Mt. Pleasant has closed. If you're going to be in the SC Lowcountry, you'll get a good view of vast stands of Kudzu, along with fantastic barbeque, if you head south from Charleston to Edisto Island; look for Po Pigs Barbeque on Hwy 174.

Is it time for lunch, or what?

But real BBQ sauce is mustard based.

    Ahem.

For those whose taste buds have been dulled by the smog and congestion of that massive city of Columbia, perhaps.

For those who prefer to breathe deeply of the rotted smell of pluff mud, though, its gotta be vinegar and black pepper.

One of my favorite LF memories, actually, is having a lunch of BBQ, sitting on a dock on the Waccamaw River while shooting a documentation job at a former rice plantation where a subdivision/marina was planned. If I recall correctly from several years ago, this was one of the last images before lunchtime.
