Nice! I was just out in NM, so this especially resonates with me at the moment.

Beautiful image Dennis. You know a bit more than "...just enough to be dangerous". I enjoy your work.

Nice one Dennis! If it wasn't for the wires....he he. Well, this sort of reminds me of Tok, AK (at sunset)....if it wasn't for the asphalt road, it would have been just like 1000yrs ago.

Dammit Les, I was really enjoying it until you pointed them out - Dennis, go back and shoot it again 'cause I really like it.

Thanks, David. I hope you were able to get some good images out there. BTW, I enjoyed your library images a while back and also thought the homemade bagels looked pretty darn good !

Thanks, Jon. Haven't seen you post in a while, but recall your nice IR image of a bridge a few months back.

Thanks, Barry. I just saw your comment today about my lake image in "tiny formats". Glad you liked it - a puzzle for me as I mentioned in my response. As for knowing just enough.... Believe me, it often gets me into trouble !

    Les.
Hi, Les, yes, the shadows of the wires - I finally decided the shadows were ok - now that you brought it up, I'm going to obsess about this again ! Somehow I don't mind the 2 darker shadows. It's the 2 faint shadows near roof level that bother me. This image is in photoshop, so I'll give it a try.

Sorry for the upset our friend Les created for you and me !

Don't bother. They add a nice touch of contemporaneousness (Germans like long words). Why should the adobe building look like it was photographed a century ago? It's 2017, the building is still here, and there is beauty in that. A little interaction with the surroundings doesn't hurt.
