Smile 2010/2011 LF Print Exchange Vote

If you are interested in participating in a 2010/2011 LF Print Exchange, please cast your vote. Prints submitted for this exchange must have been made in 2010-2011 and cannot be duplicates from any other print exchange.

Please read this post before you vote, (replace "2009" with 2010/2011) for more info: http://www.largeformatphotography.in...ad.php?t=57711.

Poll closes on January 16th. If we receive 40 or more participants, I will volunteer to coordinate. If someone else would like to coordinate the exchange, please post in this thread.

    Kind regards,
    Darr

    Darr,

I have sent you a pm, but I'll throw this out here also. Last year I produced some of the Lenswork style folios in both the 8x10 and 11x14 size. I would be willing to donate enough of these so that the exchange prints could be store and displayed in one. It would require deciding on one of the sizes. Each folio can hold 15 pieces so the ideal number would be 45 or 3 groups of 15. A smaller number of prints can be used, it would just require a little thicker backing board. Just thought I would throw this idea out there. Jim Becia

The link doesn't seem to work for me.
I like the idea the Jim has ... ending up with one portfolio of prints matted to the same size, at least that's how I read Jim's comments.

    Rob,

They would not be matted, just printed on the same size paper, either all images on 8x10 paper or all on 1114. An 8x10 image looks very nice printed on 11x14 paper. Jim

I like this idea a lot...each image be sized to fit on 11x14 where possible. Those working with contact prints might find it more difficult unless they just happen to own an 11x14 printer, though. I will print my images on 11x14 paper. I already have several extra Lenswork folders that I bought from Jim (beautiful, by the way), and will provide a few extras if needed.

    Michael,

Thanks for the offer, but if in fact this happens, I have more that enough folios for the project. There really is no need for anyone to give up their folios. Jim
