Two excellent and arresting portraits. I get the sense of two men inwardly saying "this isn't what I expected this morning, but I'll go along with it as he's due to pay me later" I'm sure that they are pleased with the outcome.

Wow, classic. I love profiles, we don't see enough of them. What a beautiful face.

Maybe this is really still life, but I spend more time with him and his buddies then my family, so I consider him human!

My first image post where I feel like I knew what I was doing with the camera. Fine focus needs some work...

Wisner 4x5. Fuji 210mm. Kodak Portra NC. A scan of a contact sheet made with a Canon all-in-one.

Stunning, both here and in the meniscus thread with the magnifying glass. Why the word grotesque though? That doesn't seem to fit well in english. Does it mean something else in your land? She looks anything but grotesque. In this with the 300 the head looms a bit though. Like it's too big for the doll body?

Thanks Jim. Yes, 300mm is short for 8x10, so I tried not to get too close, but cannot get rid of the wide angle effect. I'll try get the scratched kodak 405mm with loose iris. Meniscus lens above 300mm are not so easy to find... Anything lying around in your toolbox that could fit my needs?
Diva Grotesque is her model name. She usually poses in goth or pvc outfits, but not that day. Maybe next time
