    Re: January Still Life

Yesterday was cold with rain, so made one table top shot with my Deardoff V8 with a 19 inch Goerz Lens and a splitter for panoramic. About the time I was set up my wife wanted to use the table. The box is always on display in my house.

But this is here to show how a background niche works naturally with a single light source to set off light tones on dark and dark tone on light.
    Thank you very much.

    Even closer to the wire:

A sycamore leaf; 360 Symmar, HP5 in PMK, printed on Kentona in Dektol and scanned from the print.

    Steve,

    Thank you.

And yes, it is standing on its own. As it happens, the leaf dried sort of cup-shaped with the stem pointing away, and it is quite stable. It's nice when nature cooperates at least occasionally
