    If you are doing B&W you could use alternate colors to control contrast.

    If you want to use a very large print I would:

    combine "soaker" and "regular" garden hoses to spell out your letters. Leave hose empty on the ground and wait for the snow. Then find a way to push your yellow fluid through the hose. You could utilize gravity or a pump for example.
