Asher - she's a model who lives near Palm Springs (where I live) and I've worked with her several times. She'll come out here at the drop of a hat to do more shooting so I plan on working with her a lot more. Interesting thing is that she is interested in photography and is just getting into shooting herself. She is also interested in the darkroom process and has already joined me once for printing proofs of one of our sessions together. It's fun working with a model who also wants to learn about darkroom stuff.
Jim - I was up in Carmel a few weeks ago working with Kim Weston and the stories I told her from my session with Kim got her interested in the Westons. I'm not familiar with Ruth's book - I'll have to look it up and maybe also get a copy for myself.
Dan, great image. I can't wait to see the print and talk about your time with Kim.

I like the dynamics imparted by the Petzval here. You've used that lens to good effect in this image. Lots of chaos, but somehow ordered as well.

I'll side with JMB most on here wouldn't know what constitutes art if it was hung from their.... what a complete waste of time go take some picutres that mean something or just quit photography, which most of you should do anyway.
