Is the ciggy ash is soft enough to not scratch the emulsion if you want to make a clean print later?
it is... if you're carefull.
McCoy: What I do is disgustingly enough to lick the emulsion side on the negative - which makes ig damp but not wet as such - then I apply the ashes and gently smear it on the negative with my fingers.. when dry, the ashes stick to the film rather firmly.
IF you don't like the result, you just rinse the negative in water, and the whole thing goes away, and you'll have a pristine looking negative for new try outs.....
LOL, I love it, you are licking your negatives of nudes and 'degrading' them or you.
Great idea!
Still laughing. Best idea here in a while!
Perfect bar story, I gotta try the licking, the printing and the telling!
Tin Can
It's so impressive it makes me want to start smoking! Can't wait to try it! Thanks.
Not degrading them, honoring them with additional creativity
