I'm definitely a newbie to LF, but not to photography in general. Here are a couple from my first LF nude sessions. Actually, they were SF sessions, and I shot a couple of sheets of film in each.


Shot on 5x7 Ilford FP4+ (Kodak Commercial 14-inch at f/8), developed in HC110, contact printed.


Shot on 4x5 Ilford FP4+ (Fujinon 150 at f/8), developed in HC110, negative scanned in two parts on Canon 9900F and merged in Photoshop. Effects added in PS.

Here is one I did the other day - way over exposed. Hope to try again in a couple of days. Clear glass ambrotype, 12" Hyatt Petzval wide open, 10s exposure, ammonium thiosulfate fix

Beautiful!!!If she were dressed in a business suit the exact same shot would work nicely for a corp. brochure! The pose looks like something that could reaaly happen opposed to some of the contrived nude poses.
