Made two variations on the previous images. I didn't want to distress the previous ones, but I made several similar negs, so I decided to give these a go...

I think both versions work beautifully, but just convey different emotions. Excellent series and outstanding work!!

I prefer the non-distressed versions.

You've done an excellent job of creating a "vintage" look and feel.

Distressing the images is just shouting about the obvious.

hi Leigh. I know what you mean, but I do not agree.. ;-) Vut this was the reason I didn't distress the first ones. I think they work in theyr own rights.
However I also felt a distressing would make a contribution to the images. The trick is that the distressing should be a part of the image - not something that looks added later..
That is a difficult one.

I am not trying to make my images look old - maybe more painterly (being such a sucker for pictorialism...)

But than you so much for your oipnion. It is appreciated!

Polapan 53 - somewhat overexposed because some idiot forgot it is ISO800 rather than the ISO100 he had metered for his Foma 100

Not quite nude but definitely NSFW and my favourite of the day.



I do also have some B&W and Colour Transparencies which I need to develop but I haven't done 5x4 before
