Oh right, I forgot to mention. There's plenty of tits and ass in there.

Just what I needed another place to see the work of people doing a better job then what I'm doing.
Thanks for the heads up.
Well thanks cosmicexplosion
Ron, it is a bit overwhelming at first, then you realise it is just a bunch of people overdoing HDR.
you are right Ramiro i am not sure what HDR is but after a few pages all the nudes seem to have a generic quality, like an army of fantasy clones from a brothel far into the future, maybe a good example of the essence of the film v digital debate.
still i am a bit jealous that its not me shooting them....but i guess they were all paid, so not much of a feat really, just need cash, oh and a pro studio with a slick card and website and maybe a rolex?

Where the hell are these naughty HDR nudes???
There's some excellent work at 500px, but like everywhere, it's a small minority. What fascinates me is the patterns, trends, and inferences in these giant image collections. Julia summed it up pretty well by saying everything looks like it is either National Geographic, advertising, or video games. I don't take quite so hard a line, but I understand what she means. And why should anyone be surprised when, given very capable equipment in large numbers and a place to share results, people reproduce the images with which they are most familiar? I saw one image there, described as a portrait, of a young woman, leaning against a soft drink vending machine, soft drink in hand, smiling brightly at the camera. This image was clearly not spontaneous, but staged. These kinds of images along with the stated intentions of their makers bring to mind interesting questions about the nature of creativity.
oh you dirty old man, mr feeble, i feel like an accomplice in a crime of filth telling you. it will also seem obvious in a few words and make you question your comprehension skills, but any way, were takin about the 500px site, just punch in nude in search box, no pun intended.
@jay
yeah i think there is a lot of 'pro' togs using 500px as a network, after all it the best way to have people see you work, working as a group, like a food court ion a shopping centre, you can see the 'i am doing this for money' subtext in their work, especially after coming from this site which is mostly people doing what they want with film, with all its flaws.
i agree that there is a pattern of styles, not many experimental or crusty filmers, no wet platers, or users of brass lenses.
