Nude and Tree, Alexandria Bay
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ilford IB4 1P photographic paper, image size 24.6cm X 19.5cm, from an 8x10 Kodak Tmax 400 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD large format field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.
A photograph in pursuit of the obvious: Contrast the rough tree profile with the smooth skin profile. Arrange the negative spaces for the background to come through as an assortment of interesting (?) shapes.
Oh, and ignore the faint Newton ring pattern in the upper left. I have a strong contact frame that really squeezes negative and paper together. Horizon's tilted too.
