Very nice capture. I strongly you not crop the photo. The composition is technically correct and it allows the figure to breathe in the environment.

Tbeaman, I'll join George in suggesting you leave it as it is. Nothing wrong with the composition: the image is excellent as it is!

Frank, your images are always interesting. You have a very mature vision in your work. This is not to say I think you are old, fat and bald. Those discussion points are best left to the models who know you far better than I do.

Thank you, Jim! Looking at the prints, I might still give the edge to the Cooke, but it's closer than I thought it would be! Of course, I always thought the Vitax was one of the nicer Petzvals...

Having seen these prints in person, I can attest the Vitax looks as great as the Cooke. I was amazed at how similar they were.
