    Re: Photoflex Tent with 8x10

I was at the Photoflex warehouse sale this weekend and they had boxes of the tent on sale for $5 each - a real steal. Since it appears that you could load a Jobo 3010 expert drum standing upright in it, I considered it while waiting in line to pay for my lighting purchases. I finally dismissed it reasoning that my current method of light-proofing the bathroom door using black contractors trash bags and loading the 3010 while standing upright on the bathroom counter with a black towel placed underneath was a lot simpler then the maneuvering the tent would require.

My Harrison tents work fine for loading sheet film holders and roll film developing reels. Otherwise I would have bought the Photoflex tent.

A friend of mine has one (hi John, yes I still have it) and I've used it for 8x10. It is a bit tight but definately do-able.
