The Tonopah Workshop.
With Jim Galli and Per Volquartz.

It will happen again May 2 - 6, 2011

Witness - and photograph the decaying buildings in Tonopah and Goldfield (the former home of Pat Garret, the sheriff), plus Jim's secret sand dune area and hoo-doo place.
Photograph inside and outside in the old Tonopah Mining museum, the home of the great silver mining boom around 1900.
Look at prints, drool over old brass lenses, enjoy the great nothingness of Central Nevada...

Live and breathe photography for 5 days and evenings, with discussions and presentations at night. - Perhaps after a margarita or two at the local Mexican palace?

Tonopah is half way between Las Vegas and Reno, close to the backside of Death Valley.

Price: $169 per person.

To sign up please email Jim Galli at jim.galli@frontier.com

Please write TONOPAH TEMPTATION in email header (think about Jim's brass lenses of course)!
