What mat size for 5x7 enlargements

Maybe if I can clarify a few things, it will help…

Here’s how I understand your situation:

1) You have (or will have) prints of varying sizes (made from 5x7 film)
2) As an example, you say one print size might be 9.5 x 13.25
3) You have 16x20 mat board on which you will mount the various prints
4) You want to over-mat the prints w/ boards that have pre-cut windows
5) Since you have prints of varying sizes, you (naturally) need pre-cut windows of varying sizes

And your questions, as I understand them:

— What pre-cut window dimensions on 16x20 mat board do people here prefer?
— What pre-cut windows (other than 8x12) are commonly available on 16x20 board?
— Where can I find 16x20 boards w/ a variety of pre-cut windows?

(We’ll forget that you have a mat cutter, since you’ve asked us to. )

My communication skills are obviously failing me

I was simply asking if anyone knows of a source for precut 16x20 matboard with a 8x12opening

Or if anyone has a different cutout dimension besides 8x12 that they like for a 5x7 negative enlarged to a 10 x 14 (9 1/2 x 13 1/4) size
