    3rd party printer for panoramic

I am looking for a third party printer that can print large (for me) color panoramic images.
I have several large panoramic images (50X20 inches...135-180MP) with file sizes of 350-500 MB that I need to have printed. I prefer Gallerie Gold Silk paper because that is what I typically use and I have already proofed the images on that paper.

    Recommendations appreciated.

Try Dean Imaging in Atlanta, GA. Excellent but not cheap.

    Hi Donald,

I print pans, but I've stopped stocking the Ilford Gold Fibre Silk paper. Although it looks great, it has too many manufacturing flaws as of this time last year. I had a 24"x96" panoramic to print and went through a 40' roll before I got a flawless print last year. Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta, or Museo Silver Rag are much better options IMOP.

    Best,

    Best,
Thank you for your information. I gather that you do 3rd party work. Do you have a website?

Perhaps anecdotal as it's been 2-3 years since I last used it, but I had to toss many prints due to flaking and other fragility issues (roll only; not cut sheets). There are more durable and better surfaced papers than GFS, such as Museo Silver Rag. Subjectively speaking, I believe that it's the best of papers in its class.

Thanks for your responses on GS paper. I have been printing on cut sheets and not experienced a problem...it sounds as if rolls are a different matter.
