It's in stock at Maco, but under a different name. They call it AG STAB now:

    125 ml
    1.25 l

    They ship worldwide.

Check the left column on page 26 of the latest Freestyle catalog.

Agfa Sistan Print Stabilizer 500ml is listed for $14.99.

    Re: Sistan or alternative

This is an old thread, but the newest regarding Sistan. This is just an update. Freestyle is not longer carrying Sistan and AG STAB is no longer listed at MACO. I don't see it or similar alternatives anywhere. Fortunately, I have a good supply of Sistan. Does anyone have any information -- other than "I shouldn't be using the crap anyway"?

Has anyone read the book, "Stabilizers for Photographic Silver Halide Emulsions: Progress in Chemistry and Application". Any reviews?

Freestyle does it have it (somewhat hiddend in their catalogue):

    https://www.freestylephoto.biz/12056...-Agent-1-Liter

Otherwise, Bellini of Italy makes an equivalent product (ST100): it’s available from fotomatica.it but I don’t know if they ship outside of the EU.

    Fuji made (makes?) “ag Guard”.

Thanks for the tip. I had been looking at the wrong FREESTYLE page:

    https://www.freestylephoto.biz/9427-...lizer-Solution

which states it is not available. Your link says their "supply is low", so if anyone is interested, they might want to put in an order now -- and call them first!
