550mm f4 Simon Kronar, 332657466890 - $1,081.00. Lens complete with barrel and flange in good condition. The seller replied to a question I asked saying "the back glass has a little magnification. Definitely it is not a filter". I'm sharing that because there's not much information online about the optical design of the Kronar.

The price of this lens might not be indicative of a standard lens of this type. The barrel was engraved with “P&S Boston, Mass” (I assume this was a standard Gundlach lens that was distributed by the Pinkham and Smith company). My guess is that if it did not have the P$S engraving the final price would have been lower.
Still down in the doldrums as far as both supply and demand are concerned.
On the 13th, two larger sizes of the Cooke triplet (IIA and IIE) were auctioned in North Yorkshire along with a plateholderless Century Studio set.
£1650 for the complete lot (plus approx. 24% com.).
Condition and functionality unknow. No apparent "fall from a great height" type of damage.
Early IIA F.3.5, 12.5". Late IIE just pre- coating, I think. F.4.5. 15".
