    5x7 & larger enlargers Question

Question1: Does anyone have a list of Durst models that can handle 5x7 negs or larger?
Question 2: Does anyone have a list of any enlargers that can handle at least 5x7?
Question 3: Does anyone know where there is a Beseler 4x5 enlarger modified to handle 5x7 that might be up for sale?
Question 4: Does anyone know where there is a specific 5x7 enlarger up for sale?
    Thanks

Re: 5x7 & larger enlargers Question

A few I could think of:

    Omega E
    Durst L1300
    Durst 138
    Durst S-45
Beseler (2 models, floor standing 1 column and a tabletop 2 column 57MB)
    Elwood 5x7
    Kodak 5x7 (similar to Elwood)
    DeVere 507
    IFF Ampliator 5x7
    Zone VI 5x7

Three Durst 5x7 and a head on Ebay now.

If you are patient, they can be had cheap on the evil.
I picked up a new in the box 240 for less than 20 bucks.
The shipping was more than I paid for glass.

Wow good find. I have all the Latico I need -- just reacting to the evidently abusive treatment...

Re: 5x7 & larger enlargers Question

Neg carriers for 5x7 Durst are more rare/pricey than Latico condensers.
Real cameras are measured in inches...
    Not pixels.

Re: 5x7 & larger enlargers Question

Jensen Optical has a considerable data base on their website of Durst models and
components. Doesn't necessarily mean he has much if any of this in stock, however.
New Durst gear is getting scarce. A used L138 Durst might go from anywhere from
absolutely free picked up to $15,000. Just depends on your luck, timing, what
people know about this gear, and condition. If you have basic machine shop skills,
even a refurbished one of these will be superior to almost anything else.
