    Hmmm

Calument Calstar IIN 150 lens in Copal..... $100.... misspelling on eBay. Excellent condition

Toyo 45CF $200...LNIB, at the beginning of the bubble burst... guy leaving town for work

Bronica 6X6 SQB.... $275. LNIB on eBay... no brand on listing

Happens all the time. I NEVER search any auction site by category, but I do search many variations of spellings. Out of category items and misspelled items have made good money for me.

It's not large format, but got a HoyaR72 67mm infrared filter for my medium format in mint condition for only $20. Thought that was a pretty good deal.

I bought a Nikon LS-8000 ED Super cool scan with all the negative holders off a guy on craigslist for $200. Then I scanned all my negatives and a month later sold the scanner on eBay for $1600.

I bought a Jobo CPE2 from a fellow Montreal photo buyer: $10 (no lift). I had to re-glue a magnet on a drum, but besides that it was perfect. Sadly, I sold it on fleabay before I started 8x10.

Really SAShruby? Is that the best "steal" you've ever made?

Yup. A guy I bought it from saved the printer from being thrown to dump. Some companies are weird, this came to me out of the blue.

a couple weeks ago I purchased a 1946 Leica lllc with non pitted chrome finish with a working Leica MR light meter for $10 from a local picker here in the ozarks. He also had 5 rolls of unopened tri-x from 1981 that he charge me more for than the Leica!
