My question is in regard to the scales showing ink jet levels for each particular colored catridge. The scales, seem to me, are not accurately showing the levels of ink, either consumed or what ink remains in the respective cartridges.
In checking with the Epson status monitor, the levels of ink are consistant with the scale on the exterior of the machine. When the ink levels are getting "lower" (usage) but not totally consumed, I get prints which are off colored indicating a ink/s is (are)needed. (Epson should have a built in indicator which says, "it's necessary to replace..."
My question specific is: are the scales true? Why should the scales/ink jet levels per cartridge show remaining ink in the cartridges, yet prints are showing something amiss?
I have done the cleaning of heads, etc--why do the scales show ink in the catridges, yet replacement is indicated by the way my prints turn out?
