my own experience says to deal with Freestyle. I get orders shipped to Brisbane reasonably frequently (at least once a month) and the cost is much less than buying locally even when freight is included. Provided you keep the order under $1000 (AUD) there will be no problems with customs, and in terms of shipping time, an order placed on a friday is usually with me the following friday which is much better than what I can get from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Price wise, I have no complaints and the service is outstanding.

Have a look at "cheap_shots_au" on eBay. You'll need to ask him if he can get some 8x10.
No 8x10 will be "cheap" in The Great Southern Land!!

I think I saw in another thread that you actually ended up buying a 4x5, not 8x10. If that is the case, the cheapest place for you to get film is probably Shanghai film sold on Ebay. Freestyle film prices are about the same, but shipping outside the US is very expensive. I use the Shanghai and am happy with it. If you buy it, make sure you look at all the listings, as pricing varies considerably. Just choose the cheapest. 5x7 has also become available recently, and although I have yet to see 8x10, perhaps that will be available soon.
Best, Tim
Okay, I just checked, and 8x10 is available now.
