LONG CABLE RELEASE?

I have done a significant amount of research and I can't find anyone who makes o r sells extra long cable release cords... I was wondering if anyone knew how or where I can aquire one. I know they exist. Something longer than 5 feet. Cind y Sherman would know. Thanks a lot.

Kaiser has 16 and 32' air relearses. Gepe Pro, Linhof and Kaiser makes cable releases up to 40" Prontor has discontinued their cable release in the 5 to 8' range.

hi barney: i am not sure if mine is a kaiser, but i found a 30 foot air cable release that might be one of contracted out to a company to become a store-brand. it works great, and even has a long enough "throw" to open/close a wollensak studio shutter. i got mine at sbi sales / wb hunt photo video http://www.wbhunt.com/ good luck!

Barney, Hama makes a 30 foot air release. I got mine at B&H about a year ago.

B&H sells several different models, but they're hard to find on the site:

bhphoto.com > Photo > 35mm body/lens accessories > Remote controls (wired)

(yes, a bulb release is a "wired remote control"; I suppose a baseball thrown at the camera constitutes a "wireless")

They list a 10 footer under the Hakuba brand, 20 and 30 footers under the Hama brand, and 16 and 30 footers under the Kaiser brand (I stopped at "K").

No. The taper on the Linhof works best.
