Lenny, before you do an Android version, wait a year. Then poll the users of this forum with respect to whether more of them own an Android tablet or more of them own a webOs tablet. That'll give you an idea where to direct your efforts.

Congratulations and thanks for your good work.

    ,,, and good shooting.

Nice app, To bad I hate apple products and what they stand for. I like open source platforms like Linux, and Google OS, I like the ability to write and compile programs in C++ and run them on windows systems. I hope soon people will start to develop to the Droid and CE (windows mobile) platforms. Iphone apps seems to be the mostly developed because of the usb host controllers on droid and CE are difficult to work with due to limited memory in the devices.

I wish you the best of luck with your device. I hope that you take the time to rewrite a similar app for the droid market. It is a dog fight iOS vs Droid. Apple is winning by a large margin on 2010. It will be interesting to see how 2011 pans out. OpenSource vs Ios. Both platforms have their pluses and minuses. Google needs to hurry and release Google OS (ChromeBook) this will bring all of the cards to the table. Then Open source Cloud based OS's will be the game changer for largest portion of the world, Poor People!

I have been working with Google OS SDK, as well as HTML5 for over a year. I missed getting a pilot device by 5 people. I am excited to see what will be on June 15th. I hope I did not hijack your thread. I am happy that you have this nice app, I just wish to see more people move to open source. This is where all of the cool technology is going to be born in the future.

Good luck with your app. I hope you decide to embrace the Android SDK and make available to us your app. AKF

Thanks, David. Wait a year - that sounds good! I have enough things to do that I'm not getting paid well enough for...

    Good shooting to you, too!

I am frustrated with Apple as well. However, not as frustrated as I am with Google and Windows (and everything they stand for). Apple's stuff works, you gotta give them that...
    Thanks for the good wishes...

    Just purchased your app.
Looks pretty good. It is what I needed!!! Thank you.

But please change the intro background photo! Why not to make possibility to change this by the owners of this app?

    Few questions and suggestions:
How to start a "gear bag"? I'm stuck...
What is a story with PhotoTools Authentication?
Exporting each photo by mail is not very good... Syncing with server will be much more useful. When you start with this functionality?
Maybe it will be good idea to add viewfinder function as a composition tool?

Thanks for all this, Adam. We could do a viewfinder.... One could use the cropping function in the snapshot to check out how you would like to frame things...

I would also say that most of the photographers in the history books used one camera and one lens for many years at a time. They got sensitive to what fit in the frame with their lens... I do this and when I am in practice I know exactly where to place the camera... If I need a longer lens, I pick up the camera and walk closer... just my 2 cents...

Thanks for such a fast response!
    Lenny, You are the master.
But Im just lerning large format. Why not use this app for help in this case?
Knowing focal lenght and choosed film format, PhotoToolsPro! could visual a future photo on the iPhone screen... Same as in Viewfinder Cine iPhone app.
Yes, I can check it in the focusing screen of the camera but sometimes its impossible.
My pinhole camera got no focusing screen at all...
Next thing: In my opinion "Save your changes?" button is to close of the bottom options:"Trips", Sensor", etc. Or maybe I've got too large fingers... Many times, I was staring Level function, instead of saving changes...
    Looking for the new upgrades!

Lenny, do you know of a way to transfer a database from an old phone to a new phone? I have just upgrade from an iPhone 3GS to a 4, and haven't figured out how to maintain the database. I guess I need to email it all to myself and transcribe it into my field book.

Rick, I'd love to give you a quick answer, but I don't want to blow smoke, and I think you found the best one already...

I do need to finish that syncing utility...
